CASL Opens Its First Aircraft Maintenance Hangar Print
Client Support News - Hong Kong

caslChina Aircraft Services Limited (CASL), one of only two companies franchised by the Airport Authority Hong Kong to provide aircraft line and base maintenance services, held an opening ceremony for its new aircraft maintenance hangar at the Hong Kong International Airport recently. Ketchum Hong Kong assisted CASL in inviting government officials from Mainland China and Hong Kong as the officiating guests at the ceremony. Strategic advice was also provided throughout the event planning phase.

To maximize publicity for the new hangar, local and regional media were invited to attend and a media briefing session was held after the ceremony. The hangar, which provides 10,000 square metres of maintenance space, attracted over 35 reporters from the aviation, business and local news desks to report on the expansion of CASL's aircraft support services. Over 50 news clips and more than 10 TV news reports were generated within 24 hours, carrying messages of CASL's strong capabilities, comprehensive and varied aircraft maintenance services, and enhanced service offerings which strengthen Hong Kong's position as a regional and international aviation hub.
