McDonald’s Supply Chain Print
Client Support News - Guangzhou

MCD_GZ_Media_Open_Door_fmtWith food safety and quality becoming an increasing concern in China, global fast food service retailer McDonald’s recently held an open door session with their products and logistics service supplier in Guangzhou for the top 10 local media.

For many of the media attending it was the first time they had been given access to visit McDonald’s supply chain. The open door session, which included supply chain system briefings and plant and distribution center tours, provided great opportunities to explain McDonald’s strict operational standards, quality control systems and expansion strategy for China.

The media appreciated the transparent communications and news reports were promptly generated, carrying messages of McDonald’s food safety and quality, as well as marketing commitments in China.

Reporting included broad coverage in the three most influential dailies in Guangzhou.
