Ketchum News - Hong Kong

IMG_4822_optIn April, Ketchum Hong Kong completed its fourth annual student competition with the School of Communications, Hong Kong Baptist University. This year, a record 36 year-two undergraduates students took part. The students were split into six groups and each appointed a mentor from Ketchum Hong Kong staff.

Ketchum’s corporate and brand clients and tasked with designing a campaign to meet the communications objectives. Each campaign was presented in a life-like pitch format in front of the student body and a panel of judges which included Dr. Flora Hung and Dr. Regina Chen, both assistant professors at the School, along with Dr. Simeon Mellalieu, general manager Ketchum Hong Kong and Phoebe Leung, vice president brand practice, Ketchum Hong Kong.

The competition was used as a practicum element for the student’s second final semester and also came with a prize for the winning team: a two-month internship for each team member at Ketchum Hong Kong. The winning students are already working alongside Ketchum’s staff in all practices providing each with invaluable experience for their professional careers ahead.
