cipra01_fmtKetchum has won two awards at the biennial China Golden Awards for Excellence in Public Relations presented by the China International Public Relations Association (CIPRA). Chris Liu, partner, executive vice president Greater China and general manager Ketchum Hong Kong, picked up a silver award in the financial communications category on behalf of the team for the Xinhua Winshare IPO program. Richard Burger, senior vice president Ketchum Beijing, collected a silver award in the international communications category for Ketchum’s work on unveiling the Lenovo-designed “Cloud of Promise” 2008 Olympic Torch. The event was also attended by Ray Kotcher, senior partner and CEO Ketchum and Kenneth Chu, partner and CEO Ketchum Greater China. “Ketchum has now collected a total of 21 China Golden Awards for Excellence since 2000,” said Chu. “It’s great to have our work for Olympic sponsors recognized. The award for financial communications is particularly significant as this has been a rapid growth area for us in the Greater China region.”
