Ketchum Hong Kong has been placed second in Marketing Magazine’s annual Agency of the Year Rankings. Marketing is one
of the region’s most important trade publications for the PR industry. Each year the magazine polls in-house PR practitioners and asks them to list in order the three PR agencies they would most like to engage to work on their business.
This is the third year that the Hong Kong edition of the publication has conducted the rankings which relate to the local market only. This year’s result is Ketchum’s highest ever placing leaping up from eighth position last year. Ketchum Hong Kong general manager Simeon Mellalieu said: “This result is testimony to a lot of hard work put in across all of our practices over the past 12 months. These rankings are extremely important to us as they reflect the thinking of our most important audience – the clients. Compiled as they are without award entries or judging panel, the simplicity of the poll makes the Agency of the Year listings even more significant. Industry recognition such as this allows potential clients, as well as current and future employees, to gauge our performance in a busy marketplace.”
