Ketchum Greater China Makes Senior Appointments to Sustain Future Growth Print
Ketchum News - Greater China

promoKetchum Greater China recently announced four senior appointments to lead the company's development. Chris Liu has been promoted to chief business officer, Greater China. Dr. Simeon Mellalieu has been promoted to general manager of Hong Kong, Darby Doll has been promoted to general manager of Shanghai and Joe Tong joins Ketchum Guangzhou as director.

"The promotions of Chris, Simeon and Darby as well as the appointment of Joe are part of our strategic plan to strengthen our Greater China network and galvanize our resources," said Kenneth Chu, partner and chief executive officer, Ketchum Greater China. "Chris and Simeon have been instrumental to our success over the years and they will continue to play significant roles in consolidating Ketchum's leadership in Hong Kong and the region. Under his leadership of Shanghai's corporate practice, Darby proved his business acumen, made significant improvements in client servicing and emerged as an inspirational leader to his team. Likewise, Joe's depth of experience in media relations and strategic communications program development in South China will be a tremendous asset in helping clients succeed. With the appointment of these experienced and talented leaders I believe Ketchum is very well-positioned to seize growth over both the short and long term."

Prior to his new position, Chris was Ketchum Hong Kong's general manager as well as partner and executive vice president of Greater China. He remains a partner of Ketchum. Simeon was previously deputy general manager Ketchum Hong Kong. Darby was previously vice president corporate practice Ketchum Shanghai. Joe has joined Ketchum to take up his new position bringing with him nearly ten years in media and public relations agencies as well as in-house positions.
